COOKIE POLICY

Last updated October 1, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Wick Technology Limited (doing business as The Prayer Walk App) ('we', 'us' or 'our') uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at https://prayerwalk.app (the 'Website'), what they do, and how you can control them. Please read it together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we use the personal information they collect.

What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your computer or phone. Cookies we set are 'first-party cookies'. Cookies set by other companies, such as Google or Meta, are 'third-party cookies'.

We also use your browser's local storage, which works like a cookie but can only be read by our Website, and tags (sometimes called pixels): small pieces of code from Google and Meta that send information about your visit to them. We load these tags through Google Tag Manager.

Your choice

When you first visit the Website we ask you to Accept or Reject tracking.

We remember your choice for 12 months and then ask again. We also ask again if we change our tracking significantly. You can change your choice at any time using the Manage cookie preferences link at the bottom of every page of the Website. Changing your choice stops further collection. To remove anything already stored, clear your browser's cookies and site data for prayerwalk.app.

How Google's tags behave before you accept

We use Google Consent Mode. Google's tags load on every visit, but until you accept they are told not to read or write cookies or any other storage on your device. In that state they may still send Google limited information without cookies, such as that a page was viewed or a form was sent, the time, your browser type and your consent choice. Google uses this to estimate, in aggregate, how well adverts perform. It is not used to recognise you across visits or to personalise adverts.

The cookies and technologies we use

Strictly necessary

These are needed for the Website to work and to respect your choice, so they don't need your consent.

Analytics (only if you accept)

These help us understand how people use the Website, for example which pages are visited, so we can improve it.

Advertising and campaign measurement (only if you accept)

These tell us which adverts, emails and websites bring visitors to us and which of those visitors go on to contact us or start a free trial, so we can see which campaigns work.

Google and Meta may also set cookies on their own domains when their tags run. Those are covered by Google’s cookie policy and Meta’s cookie policy.

Starting a free trial

Our 'Start free trial' buttons take you to our management app at management.prayerwalk.app. If you accepted tracking, we add the campaign tags and advert click identifier from prayerwalk:attribution to that link, so we know which campaign brought you. The management app keeps them in your browser for 30 days while you finish signing up, and saves them with your account. If you rejected tracking, the link carries nothing.

How to control cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Each browser does this differently: see the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.

To control the adverts you see more generally, visit Google’s My Ad Center, Meta’s ad preferences or Your Online Choices.

Changes to this Cookie Policy

We update this policy when the cookies or technologies we use change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
